Hustle Tag

Hustle Tag is a 1v1 2D platformer tag game.

Your goal

• Tag the other player to pass them the bomb.

• If you hold the bomb when the 60 second timer hits zero, you lose.

How a round plays

• One player starts with the bomb.

• You chase, juke, and tag to make the other player hold it.

• Hits build knockback over time, so movement and spacing matter more as the round goes on.

Movement

• You move like a fast platform fighter.

• You climb ceilings.

• You do not climb walls.

• Maps have platforms and routes for escapes, cutoffs, and mind games.

Controls Red player

• Move with W A S D.

• Attack with S.

• Use ability with 2.

Blue player

• Move with I J K L.

• Attack with K.

• Use ability with 8.

Characters

• You pick from a roster of characters.

• To pick a character, press your ability button.

• Each character has a different attack style and one main ability.

• Most characters also have a special combo input, like pressing Attack and Ability together, for extra movement or a trick.

Win condition

• Do not hold the bomb at the end.

• Force the other player to hold it when time runs out.
